Hey guys,

Build 118.7 is live! The changes are:

Legends! Weekly, Monthly and All time leaderboards
If you are a legend (top 10 on any leaderboard), you will get a red glow
At level 20, XP bar now shows Fame
Keep track of who killed a character and show on Fame screen
Toggleable offensive language filter
Fixes to cheat detection

As secure as the rest of the game. Modifying the fame on the client has no reflection on what the server thinks the fame should be. That's not to say I don't have some ideas on how to fool the server into giving out more fame, but they're theoretical and untested.

fame bar a little confusing with health bar when youre monitoring with peripheral vision since they're adjacent and similar colors... could it be moved below mana?

Graphics option for turning off\on - numbers of fame\hp\mp WITHOUT mouse highlight (so we can see progress not by mouse over)
Show fame when person dies in main chat
Player level 20 died, killed by Medusa - gaining 123 fame

I heard someone said he got a soulbound tier 6 prism after the regular Oryx encounter--I was there and so are many other people but sadly I didn't take a screenshot.

But please double check and if there are inconsistencies, correct as soon as you can to avoid the in-game economy ending up in disaster.

you know how warriors (players) just come out of battle and go to nexus and there on the rage of death and no priest or paladin wants to heal them I say you make the fountains, "Fountains of youth", able to heal your charecter!

This will be epic...

I have been annoyed at having to go to the change characters menu to find out the current fame level... now it will be easier to keep up with... this should help with my endeavors to make 2000 fame on my first char... so far I have made 576 fame on the Rogue class as my high... posted that death few days ago... it was epic... never liked the insta death factor and someday I hope they come up with a cure for the lag issue on the servers.

First off, I know you devs don't always hear the love. (Hopefully you see it in the realm gold donations.) But, I wanna say I really like the fame bar and legends board. The fame tracking is fun (although the orange bar at a glance may get confused with the red hp bar) and the legendary aura is a nice consolation to any top 10 fame-getting character that dies (and now we all know if it was a bunny or a skull shrine). Also, props on cheat detection augment. If I see anything glitchy, I'll letcha know.

I say reset the all-time leaderboard. It only seems fair since no one will ever get that high of an amount ever again.

Ya, I think a reset is in order. There are some wacky things on there that shouldn't be. Props to everyone who hit those marks and all, but there wasn't a board until now, so it should start now.

Also, what about the players who haven't died yet? What if their base fame reaches above current levels on the board? I mean, it's base, it's not like it can go down. Why aren't some these players being recognized?

I don't think non-dead characters should be on the lists because then the best-week and best-month lists would just be full of people who haven't died - specifically, the same exact people

Talking to a few people, they were under the impression that the leaderboards were about the live characters that were doing well.

I suppose that since it only refers to the dead characters, the red 'rage' halo makes more sense now.

How can one be a leader after they're dead? I agree with the others who advocate having the coloring be placed on living players, not after they've died.

Lets all get this straight now: it should not be called a "Leader Board". Call it by it's proper name: Legends. The proper name suggests past tense, which hopefully should help clarify it for people. May be tricky for the players who speak limited english, though.

Edit: I'm a dope. Lots of people are incorrectly calling the ranks "leaderboard" and I got confused.

and it'll be reduce after u've bought things like ammy
so why dun use total XP of a living character to be the parameter of "leaderboard"?

Week/month leaderboard is pretty crappy. I can get 504 in 1-2 days easily topping most of those guys. The epic thing is the all time legends. Only modifiers I get are accurate + tunnel rat. I think it would be better if it counts living EXP as a different legend leaderboard

I hope all the hacker scum are finally blocked. It really infuriates me when I see someone who has a stupid cheat engine that allows them to plow over mobs I have been working hard to kill, or lagging my system with some massive bullet spray. I know you can't block them all, but just the same, I'm happy to see more efforts in this area.

I like the idea of a Fame Bar instead of xp @ 20, that's great. Going to char select to see fame seemed "off" for smooth gameplay.

Realms spawn and despawn based on current server load.

A Realm spawns when things get busy.
A Realm despawns when things slow down.

If you happen to go back into a Realm after it despawns, do not leave. You will not be able to go back. It is your (and whoever else is with you) Realm. Cherish it.
