Chrome Web Store
Today is a big day for RotMG; it's the first time we've ever tried to distribute the game through any portal or website other than our own. If you head over to the Chrome Web Store, you'll find a newly-unveiled page for RotMG there.
It's our hope that CWS will drive new visitors to RotMG and help us grow our community. We're looking forward to seeing how this goes and then trying again on other gaming portals you may know. With a little luck and with your continued generosity and support, we can hopefully make RotMG profitable and continue to invest in its growth and improvement. We've been working on this project for over a year without paying ourselves a salary, so our fingers and toes are crossed!
Some of you have been playing RotMG for almost a year. Many of you have been playing for several months. We couldn't have gotten the game to this point without you. Thank you so much for believing in us and our game. It means more to us than you know.
So anyway, if you see new folks in the game, please welcome them! We were all newbs once.

do you need google chrome to leave a comment there? dont have it. someone should leave a comment explaining that you can create the most powerfull, maxed-out charachters in the game without ever buying a thing. someone left a misleading comment about in-game money.
i think the add should stress that devs have really kept the game Actually free. I have seen adds for games that say "free!" but if you look at them for a bit they are clearly not free if you want to actually advance your charachter. Adds for RotMG should emphasize that this game really has stayed truly free as far as full access to all characthers and all their abilites.

People would cry not having those starts at max level and not knowing how the game essentially works without first visiting the wiki. I'm curious to what players will join. Albeit a bit mis-guiding, it might've been better to use a randomly rolled char stat img and have a compare to powerful weapon user.

i think some uninstalls would be because technically the app isn't really necessary. i've been playing on chrome before the app has existed. all you need is the url, and then you can keep coming back, you know? so i dont think 100% of the uninstalls are people who don't like the game/app. just saying :3

As soon as I heard the news about RotMG being in Chrome Web Store.
I decided to get myself a Google Chrome and install this game right away!
So far it's running in good performance!
Of course I can play RotMG on IE and FF but...
Everytime I play it on Internet Explorer it has to be full screen on Internet Explorer each time I play which is a hindrance. (By pressing F11) At least I can still play.
As for FireFox, I kept getting Security Error: Error #2048.
But enough of that. It works perfectly on Google Chrome.

Well I'm glad for you but
You're gonna need a looot more servers. The game is laggier than shit now, with more than double the original players in about a week. Plus a lot of these noobies are scammers or ninjas and it's kinda annoying. Implement trading system now, yes?

And I've been playing RotMG (Production) on Google Chrome!
As soon I went to Nexus a Massive Lag occurred due to overpopulated players which caused me to become one with the wall.

Still it's quite unexpected...
It even caused my Google Chrome to Freeze!
No wonder the East and the West server needs to be implemented.
Overall, once again I need say great job!

I'm a Chrome Noob!
Just posting to say I came in through the Chrome store, and I love the game. I'm assuming my name will get old at some point, but meh.
Unlocked all the classes, collected a grip of Tier 8-9 loot, and setting out to max the DEF/ATT/DEX of my main character, all in a week. If there is mindless grinding, it isn't anything like the other MMOs out there. (I don't know if I'd call frenetically dodging a thousand projectiles while killing gods "grinding.")
Co-op + perma-death + bullet hell + 8-bit = WIN. Thanks for making the game guys.

My suggestion is to max SPD first.
Stheno drops one in a public bag at 99%, and then one in a Soulbound bag at 11% (if you do 18% of her max HP)
Stheno is the boss of the Snake Pit. The Snake Pit is dropped by the four Lesser Gods: Undead Dwarf God, Lizard God, Ogre God, and Flayer God.

Thanks man. I'm a bit wary of the damage the snake pit spits out, but I've been toying with using Warriors/Knights/Paladins as my potion hunting alt, and the thick defense has been working out for me.
I finally have soloing Medusae down (circle relatively close, avoiding the bombs and shotguns), so I'll see if I can solo the Snake Pit boss with some disposable equipment.
I do have a question though: why Speed first? Simply for the dodging and loot rushing potential?

Nah, it's just the easiest. Godlands is more dangerous than a Snake Pit, in my opinion.
Huntress and Archer are great for the Snake Pit because arrows plough through everything, and the traps/quivers control their movement.
Greater Pit Snakes (both the Green and Purple) do 50 damage per shot, so they'll cap at 37 DEF. The Green has a 3-shot fan and the Purple has a higher firing rate. You can circle both of them since they don't aim.
For Stheno, Bows again just devour her because her Spawns (the red-eyed snakes) can't protect her from them, and you can slow/paralyze them with your ability.

I just downloaded the realm of god on chrome,
it wont load at all, i tried refreshing it, nothing, its a pain in the ass to download something only for it not to work, even tough it took like 5 sec

i didnt knew it existence before...
I really liked the game but it would be awesome if you add a pvp feature (and if you die dont lose your char)
